Learning magic isn’t easy: as touched on in my most recent article, I have been hooked from an early age, and continue to find new things out every single day.
As I firmly believe that I wouldn’t be where I am now without the help of fellow Yorkshire and UK magicians, I set up the Masterclass a few years ago to teach others (over 300 in total thus far).
Today I want to give a bit of a background about these sessions, as well as outline exactly what they can be used for:
1) Learn the basics
Some attendees of the Magic Masterclass are aspiring magicians that want to explore and learn impressive beginners tricks. A number of my students have even gone on to perform at their own shows.
2) Have fun
While learning magic can be tricky, it’s also incredibly fun and rewarding. Many bring their friends along to just experience something completely different and out of the ordinary: it certainly beats going down to the local pub or takeaway.
3) Team building
Certain Yorkshire companies have effectively used the Masterclass as an original team building activity. Those that have found that it improved their workforce’s morale, confidence and creativity. It’s also great at breaking the ice between newer members of staff.
